Hailey Calzada began dancing at the age of three and has been passionate about the art form ever since. Originally from Miami, Florida, Hailey moved to Ocala and began training at The Dance Company of Ocala at the age of nine, where she quickly became an integral part of the TDC family.
As a member of The Dance Collective, TDC’s competitive company, Hailey trained and performed extensively before graduating in 2025. During her junior year of high school, she discovered a passion for choreography and began creating her own competitive solos, earning multiple First Overall awards for her self-choreographed work. She continues to develop her voice as a choreographer today, creating solo works for dancers within The Dance Collective.
Hailey is currently continuing her education and dance training at Florida State University, where she is a member of Seminole Dance Force. Her experiences as both a dancer and choreographer have shaped her approach to teaching and given her a special appreciation for helping young artists discover their own individual strengths.
Having grown up within TDC herself, Hailey is especially excited to give back to the studio that played such an important role in shaping her as a dancer and artist. She is passionate about creating an encouraging and inspiring classroom environment where dancers feel challenged to grow while also feeling supported and confident in who they are.
Hailey strives to help each dancer develop not only stronger technique, but also confidence, artistry, individuality, and a genuine love for performing.
