Kirsten began her dance journey at the age of 11 at the Performing Arts Conservatory before continuing her training at Mary Ellen’s School of Dance. Throughout her years as a dancer, she competed across Florida and developed a strong love for performing that extended beyond the dance studio. While attending West Port High School, Kirsten further explored the performing arts through her involvement in plays and musicals.
After graduating, Kirsten took her passion for dance behind the scenes, working as a Backstage Manager for Masquerade National Dance Competition. Traveling nearly every weekend, she gained a unique perspective on the competition industry while helping coordinate events and supporting dancers and teachers from across the country. She also had the opportunity to assist with several national opening numbers, further expanding her experience in the production side of dance.
Today, Kirsten is proud to serve as both Front Desk Manager and Teacher at The Dance Company of Ocala. Her experience onstage, backstage, and behind the front desk gives her a special understanding of the many pieces that come together to create a positive studio experience. Known for her energy, organization, and genuine love for dance, Kirsten is thrilled to be part of the TDC family and to help create an environment where dancers feel welcomed, supported, and excited to grow.
