Tyler Schank is just moving back to America after a year in Beijing, China as the Assistant Artistic Director of Colorful Cloud Castle (a school for theater, dance and English) and was also an Assistant Professor at The Central Academy of Drama. Tyler currently works as an actor at NBC/Universal Studios and has performed in professional regional theaters such as Orlando Shakespeare Theater, Sundance Summer Theater, Pioneer Theater Company and Alhambra Dinner Theater. His favorite roles include Diesel in West Side Story (OST), Smokey in Damn Yankees, Ephraim Pontipee in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (ADT), Mary Poppins, Ghost: The Musical and Grinchmas (NBC/Universal). Tyler received his BFA in Music Dance Theater from Brigham Young University. While a student he spent two years on BYU’s Contemporary Dance Theater and toured with CDT to India and around the Mid-west. Tyler was also in the collegiate premier of the Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera at BYU. Fun Fact: Tyler grew up at The Dance Company of Ocala, formerly known as The Dance Factory under the direction of Debbie McCreight. We are so excited to have him join our TDC Team!
