Lisa studied at the Lillian Tcherkassky Private Studio (Kensington, MD) and was a Washington Ballet Scholarship Student under the direction of Mary Day and Choo San Goh. She began performing with the Washington Ballet Company at the age of 15. Lisa was a member of Dance Alive! Ballet Company for 5 years and also served as the Dance Director of Arts for All at the Ocala Civic Theatre for 5 summers. She spent 2 years as the Assistant Director of the Laguna Dance Theatre (Mission Viejo, CA). She is a two time Reebok Southeaster Aerobics Champion and placed fifth in the national competition. She was the ballet director of Mary Ellen's School of dance for 17 years. In 2014, she was awarded The American Ballet Theatre Teacher Certification for primary through Level 3 Ballet.
