We LOVE to hear from you!I am always thinking of my time with the studio and Brooke particularly. In fact, I often think about how grateful I am to be where I am and if it wasn't for Brooke’s generosity and love for dance I would have never made it to this point. Brooke was the one who told me about an amazing opportunity in Orlando that jumpstarted my professional dance path! She was the one who gave me the confidence in partnering. The Studio (with Brooke and Debbie in the lead) gave me the ability to stay tough but pliable, to be molded and strong enough to know I am able to do all I wanted to do with my talents. I went to many schools that told me what I was doing wrong but The Dance Factory was the first studio that told me what I was doing right and helped me grow to the professional dancer I am today. With the skills and confidence instilled in me through the learning process, I was able to get a job dancing on cruise ships and traveled the world from the Caribbean, Baltic, Scandinavian and Mediterranean seas. I have danced in almost every theme park in Florida From Busch Gardens to Disney World. I am currently residing in Las Vegas, Nevada. I am a principal understudy, chorus swing and show boy In the World Famous Jubilee created by Donn Arden, at the Bally's Hotel and Casino. I have the pleasure of performing nightly. Where I will go next is not known. But what I do know is that wherever my career takes me it’s because of the charisma, drive, nurturing, and attention to details that The Dance Factory (and personally Brooke and Debbie) gave me!!

For about 14 years of my life, TDF was my second home. Dance was my happy place, and my fellow dancers were my family. Dance was not only fun, but Mrs. Debbie, Brooke and the other teachers really cared to develop our technique so we could really impress at recitals and beyond. I now live in LA and work in marketing for The Style Network and NBCUniversal. While that's my career, dance is still my passion and I often try to take class when possible. The discipline and love for the art that I learned at TDF still transcends when I step onto a dance floor. TDF will always be my dance home!
Nancy Diaz Marketing Solutions Manager - Style Network I first started dancing at The Dance Factory when I was 12 dancing the style of hip-hop and ever since then I was completely in love with dance. I knew I had to take more classes. I started out taking classes from Ms. Debbie and she is absolutely amazing! She was the one who introduced me to the hobby that I will be doing for the rest of my life. I have had the pleasure of taking classes from many teachers at The Dance Factory, from Mrs. Debbie, Mrs. Harriet, Mrs. Brooke, Mrs. Jessica, and more. They have all been amazing and always there for me. Last year was my first year in competition and I had a blast!! I love that The Dance Factory has 2 shows annually so we can show the world all that we have been working on. It is a great experience to pull all the other dancers together and to work on our performance skills. The classes that I took are Jazz/Contemporary, Ballet, Pointe, and Hip-Hop!! I absolutely love The Dance Factory. It has not only made me the dancer that I am today but also the person I am today! They're my family. I hope to be pursuing a career in dance because of my experience at TDF!

For me, The Dance Factory gave me the fundamentals in dance to allow me to succeed as a dancer at Universal Studios-Orlando and in getting various contracts with professional theater companies. Most currently the teaching from The Dance Factory has allowed me to be a member of Brigham Young University's Contemporary Dance Theatre where we were privileged enough to take our dance concert international for three weeks to perform our show all over India! I am so grateful for Mrs. Debbie and the other teachers at The Dance Factory. It was with this studio that I received my strong foundational training in Tap, Jazz and Ballet while growing up in Ocala. Thank you TDF!
Tyler Schank BFA Musical Theatre BYU Graduate SCAD Graduate I gained a lot of dance experience, knowledge, and friendships at The Dance Factory. Dance was always a passion of mine and I enjoyed every recital, show, competition, and company performance with The Dance Factory. My dances proved to be both competitive and stylish at every recital and competition! I was always involved in an intensive college curriculum and dance was my stress relief! The Dance Factory was a place where I got to perfect my dance technique, learn teamwork, proper time management, and of course, have fun!!! Now, I can use the teamwork, proper time management, and discipline that I learned in dance class today as a veterinary professional student! I constantly look back and smile thinking about all that I learned and experienced in my 15 years of dancing at The Dance Factory!
