Marla began her dance journey at age 2 under the direction of Mary Ellen Vowinkel. At age 16 she taught Acro and quickly realized how much she loved teaching and hasn’t stopped since! She was the Director of Ocala Dance Force and trained many students from the basics to the professional level winning choreography awards ,1st place overalls , and scholarships. Her favorite memory is getting to train her sister Maycee and now teach with her “Stromster”. Marla is looking forward to introducing the littles to dance and hopefully help them fall in love with dance like she has, all while focusing on technique with the more advanced dancers. As the newer TDC teacher she says “ she already feels at home”.
